European Plant Science Organisation

EPSO, the European Plant Science Organisation, is an independent body that represents already 32 leading Research Institutions from 20 European countries.

EPSO wants to improve impact and visibility of Plant Science in Europe.

The group was set up in February 2000 and presented in May to Busquin, the European Commissioner for Research, and national politicians with a 10-year vision plan. EPSO's top priorities include boosting funding for basic plant science and co-ordinating research activities at both national and EU levels.

EPSO welcomes more members to join to form a multinational platform.
