Abstract

This project is supported under COOPENER and also receiving financial support of some aspects from co-funding by the Walloon Region of Belgium.

The ENEFIBIO project aims to create favourable conditions for the development of bioenergy projects in Senegaleseand Cameroonian SMEs. It will promote the use of biomass (residues from agro-food and wood-processing industries, etc.) to produce heat and/or power with efficient technologies. Emphasis is placed on energy production within SMEs in order to provide the energy required for their own processes.

The non-technological barriers to the development of bioenergy projects are addressed through:
