Abstract
This project aims to extend combustion of biomass residues
in high-efficiency FB boilers instead of
landfilling:
- by creating a way to replace part of the
fossil fuel with biomass in large Polish CFB
plants
- by strengthening the systems to fire
small FB boilers with difficult agricultural
plant residues
- by finding the means to burn large
portions of meat and bonemeal (MBM)
together with coal.
- by strengthening the systems to fire
household and industrial residues with
traditional fuels with an acceptable level
of emissions but without operational
problems.
