Abstract

BIO-SAFE is an Economic and Technological & Intelligence action that will provide biotechnology SMEs with a set of specialised services:

• analysis on major biotechnology technological trends in agro food and environment;
• stimulation of RTD project proposals development with strong focus on CRAFT scheme;
• support for the exploitation of R&D results to be turned in business opportunities (Business Plan development advice and Brokerage Services for Equity Capital Financing).

The action will focus on biotechnology applications in Agro-food and Environment sectors and more specifically technologies for detection, monitoring and control processes on food and environment, to allow advanced applications in rapid substances and contaminants detection and measurement. The Consortium will involve TT centres, Science Parks, IRCs and NCPs in 4 European countries (Italy, Spain, Belgium, Germany).
