Abstract
The project is arranged in three work packages:
In Work Package 1 the activity is going to be focussed on the energetical wood exploitation for short and medium term (2000,2010), establishing the destinations of wood combustible biomass, dynamics of the energy efficiency of biomass burning plants, the opportunities and constraints of present energy/ environmental national legislation and compatibility with EU legislation, evaluation of the scientific research on national and international scale.
Work Package 2 of the project will concentrate on an extended analyse of the power plants performing in the national wood industry, through energy audits carried out within representative companies. Financial analyses will be carried out in order to substantiate investments opportunities in the most viable and applicable technologies.
In Work package 3 we will elaborate a database with all necessary information for RES promotion in wood industry also the general awareness level on RES utilisations for energy production will be raised.
