This booklet details a proposals by the European Commission made in February 2001 (COM (2001) 94 final) for:

  • a Decision of the European Parliament and of the Council ' Concerning the multiannual Framework Programme 2002-2006 of the European community for research, technological development and demonstration activities aimed at contributing towards the creation of the European Research Area,

as well as

  • a Council Decision Concerning the multiannual Framework Programme 2002-2006 of the European Atomic Energy Community (Euratom) for research and training activities aimed at contributing towards the creation of the European Research Area
