
Between November 2005 and December 2007 BioMatNet was the part of the EPOBIO project that made available the results from RTD projects supported by the European Commission in the area of Biological Materials for Non-Food Products (Renewable Bioproducts).
Although this site is no longer updated, it will remain online as a resource for as long as possible.
The website includes final results from the Fifth and Sixth Framework Programmes (FP5/6), FAIR Programme (FP4) and previous programmes, as well as ongoing research from FP6, and introduces FP7.

The BioMatNet website includes a fully searchable Database of Websites that reflects the interests of organisations that previously registered with the network. This database is currently being updated to include links to other relevant websites including those of organisations associated with EC RTD projects.
